Today we find Parodia Mammulosa, also called Notocactus ritterianus. It comes from South America. They are round cactus when small in dark green mixed with gray that can reach ten centimeters in height.
It makes yellow flowers about four centimeters long. Normally, it is only older cacti that can flourish, but in this case, this species can flourish since they are very young. They have slow growth and this makes them good for planting them in gardens, whether they are on a balcony, terrace or window as long as they are located in a place where they have good ventilation.
This cactus requires direct sun exposure and a warm climate. It should also be noted that it does not resist temperatures below four degrees. When irrigating, in spring and summer it must be done regularly by letting the substrate dry. It must be reduced in autumn and completely abolished in winter.
Its greatest enemy is overwater and it is able to cope with pests and diseases.
