Cacti Crassula Buddha’s Temple

It is one of the best-known succulents in the Crassula genus.

Category:

Here we have the Crassula Buddha’s Temple, which is its vulgar name and by which it is known and is a hybrid between the Crassula falcata and the Crassula pyramidalis.

They do not usually exceed thirty centimeters in height, but we have to wait some years for this to happen. If we look at it in detail, we can see that it is a specimen of fleshy leaf, greyish green, they come very close to each other from the central stem and, curiously, all the tips look up.

As for the flowers, I haven’t had the opportunity to see any flowers, but as far as I have seen in photographs of other people, they are pink white, they are very small and numerous and usually appear at the tip of the stem. They usually bloom from late spring to any season of the year.

The irrigation must be moderate during the heat season, so it is reasonable to water it once a week in summer, once every fortnight in spring and early autumn and practically eliminate irrigation in winter. Before providing water, we will ensure that the substrate is completely dry.

Finally, if you want the plant to live and not die as many times it has happened to me, try not to expose it to the direct sun of the central hours of the day. It likes to receive good lighting, but avoiding the hottest hours. But you also have to make sure it doesn’t get cold, as it doesn’t hold any frost or temperatures below ten positive degrees.
