Here’s Ferocactus Glaucescens Inermis. This variety cannot be found outdoors, since it has been invented directly in nurseries. We know him with the vulgar name of ‘drawn barrel’. The original variety Ferocactus Glaucescens can be found in central and eastern Mexico.
It can withstand temperatures between zero and two negative degrees, the irrigation must be abundant, once a week in spring and summer. When the cold begins, stop watering completely until the next season. It is very important that in the central hours of the day no water touches the surface, as it could cause some burn.
It’s a pretty impressive cactus if we look at it in detail. We can observe that it has a body in globular shape with a blue-green hue. Normally, no thorns come out, but there is always some exception, as is the case with the copy I have, which only has a single spike and this obviously makes it very difficult and very difficult to hurt you with it.
One last point that I think is curious: if you have it inside your home (if so, make sure you have it next to a window where it receives the largest amount of direct sunlight possible) it will help you to purify the air and keep it free of toxins.
